Get to know Sharon:
Sharon grew up in a small town in Derbyshire to Punjabi parents. She moved to London after university and built a successful career in finance. While she enjoyed the hectic pace of working in the city, her health began to decline from stress. Her issues ranged from IBS, gastroenteritis, anxiety, lack of energy, and insomnia. It would be another two years of exploring every diet, fad, fitness regime, and miracle cure before she discovered Ayurveda and regained balance within her mind and body.

With the help of Ayurveda, she transformed her digestion, sleep, skin, mental and spiritual health using the ancient wisdom of her ancestors. Captivated by the impact this had on her life, she is now passionate about sharing simple Indian recipes from her childhood, and use of Ayurvedic principles to heal the health problems of those around her.

She is qualified in Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle from The Ayurveda Institute UK, with a high distinction. She is now studying further to become a fully qualified Ayurvedic medical practitioner, with advanced study of specific disorders and consulting private clients.

Get to know Lisa:
Lisa grew up in Sweden and started her career as a fashion model in her late teens. Dieting and struggles with her health and skin, led her to explore alternative and holistic health systems. Eventually she found Yoga and through that, the science of Ayurveda.
In 2015 she completed her 200 hour Raja yoga training in Hawaii and her Ayurvedic Health Consultant training in Sweden. In the summer of 2016 she certified as an ayurvedic chef with the same school in Hawaii, and immediately completed a residency thereafter. Since then she’s been teaching yoga and Ayurveda in the USA, Europe, and Africa. She’s currently based in Hamburg, Germany where she regularly offers cooking classes, yoga classes, various workshops, ayurvedic treatments and consultations.
